We are pleased to announce that Bora Kutlu, a Ph.D. candidate at Poznań University of Technology, has been awarded a DAAD scholarship within the programme Future Network Weimar Triangle: Science for Europe – Doctoral Candidates 2026.

The scholarship will support a research stay at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU). The research project focuses on the experimental and numerical characterisation of additively manufactured medical-grade PEEK materials, with potential applications in patient-specific maxillofacial implants.

The project will also contribute to the further development of the existing scientific cooperation between Poznań University of Technology, BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, and partner institutions within the Weimar Triangle network.
