The outstanding scientist was honoured with the highest academic distinction at the request of the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications.

Prof. Iyengar is currently a Distinguished University Professor, Founding Director of the Discovery Lab, and Director of the U.S. Army-funded Center of Excellence in Digital Forensics at Florida International University, Miami. He is also employed as a Distinguished Chaired Professor at the National Forensics Sciences University in Gandhinagar, India. He was involved in research and education in the field of high-performance intelligent systems, Data Science and machine learning algorithms, Sensor Fusion, Data Mining and Intelligent Systems.
